St Pancras - Promotional brochure
London’s St Pancras is recognised as one of the most wonderful stations in the world. After decades in the doldrums, it has undergone significant redevelopment over the last 10 years and as well as a major transport hub including a Eurostar terminal, it is now becoming a destination in its own right for shopping, eating and culture such as art and live music. To promote this, we were commissioned to create a brochure to showcase the breathtaking Victorian Gothic architecture and range of new facilities from places to grab a coffee to its very own champagne bar.
We used the iconic curve of the station’s roof as the inspiration for the cover and interspersed blue pages throughout the brochure. These reference the ‘Barlow Blue’ hue of the station roof, which was the largest single spanned roof in the world when it was first built in 1868. This colour was named after St Pancras’s original designer William Barlow.
